I am sure most households with kids can relate to the mayhem that is a weekday morning! Everyone seems to be on their own schedule, with high demands flying. This is a quick recap of what happens in my house on a typical weekday. I try to do as much as possible to make my mornings run as smoothly and stress-free as possible. Except for the coffee, everything gets prepped in advance.
One of my absolute favorite things about what I do is the opportunity to meet so many amazing people along the way: fellow mompreneurs (who I find so inspiring), mentors who provide me with endless and very much appreciated guidance, and certainly not least, my loyal customers. So, I decided to dedicate this blog post to one of my very first customers. Sophie French has been buying my buckwheat-based Noshes from the very start, when I was 7 months pregnant and selling them out of jars at Spring Farmers Market in East Hampton New York.
Last fall, my daughter started her 2’s program. School for 2 years olds! I was so excited for her half day to play with other kids, learn, and start to get a feel for some “independence”. But, then I received the intro packet. My 2-year-old, who would be attending for 3 hours a day, would need to arrive with a snack AND a lunch!! I was not prepared!
Welcome back to the BuckWHAT! Blast. I’m so excited to share our first recipe with you. It’s something I literally eat almost every day. Buckwheat is incredibly versatile. It can be served as a side dish, in a salad, in a smoothie….you name it. Because of its nutritional benefits, it doesn’t require much effort for buckwheat and a few other ingredients to make a tasty, highly nutritious, and filling meal.
Welcome to the BuckWHAT! Blog: The BuckWHAT! Blast! I decided to kick things off with one of my favorite themes -- Fitness! For as long as I could remember, I have been into fitness. Some may even label me a “fitness junkie”, but that sort of has a negative connotation to it, so I prefer “enthusiast.”
